Terms of use

The service

DentalDates lets patients find clinics, request visits, message a practice, view oral-health information the clinic shares, and pay deposits or invoices when offered.

It also lets clinics register a practice, wait for approval, and then manage hours, treatments, schedule, patients, messages, and billing.

DentalDates is a booking and clinic-operations tool. It is not an emergency service and it does not replace in-person dental care.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.

The same account can be used as a patient and, after a clinic is approved and you are staff, in a doctor or receptionist mode.

You may delete your account in Settings. Some records may remain as described in the privacy policy.

Patients

A booking request is not confirmed until the clinic accepts it. Times can change if the clinic reschedules or cancels.

Information you enter about yourself or a linked family member must be accurate. Do not impersonate another person.

If you are in severe pain or a dental emergency, contact emergency services or the clinic by phone. Do not rely on in-app messaging for urgent care.

Clinics

Submitting a clinic does not guarantee approval or a listing. Pending clinics stay hidden from patients until a platform admin approves them.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, hours, catalogue, prices, and the clinical care you provide. DentalDates does not practise dentistry.

You must only access patient data for people linked to your clinic, and only for providing care or running the practice.

If your clinic is rejected or suspended, patients will not be able to find or book you in the app.

Payments

Some clinics require a deposit or issue invoices in the app. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds, cancellations, and no-show rules are set by the clinic unless the law says otherwise.

DentalDates is not the dental provider. Disputes about treatment quality or clinical fees should be raised with the clinic first.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the service, probe it without authorisation, or disrupt other users.
• Upload unlawful, misleading, or abusive content.
• Use another person’s account or health information without permission.
• Scrape or republish clinic or patient data.

Intellectual property

DentalDates, the app, and the website belong to DentalDates and its licensors. You keep the rights to the content you submit. You grant us a licence to host and display that content so the service can work (for example, showing your booking to the clinic).

Availability and liability

We aim to keep DentalDates available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for missed appointments, clinic decisions, clinical outcomes, or losses caused by your device, network, or a third-party payment or identity provider.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limit is not allowed.

Termination

You may stop using DentalDates and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account or clinic listing if these terms are broken, if required by law, or to protect users.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use the service after an update, the new terms apply.
